As an Infrastructure Lead, you will be a key figure in managing and overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure. This role entails a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including on-premise Windows and Linux servers, cloud environments on AWS and Azure, backup solutions, storage systems, and Office 365. You will lead a team of infrastructure professionals to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the company's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the day-to-day management of the organization's infrastructure, including on-premise Windows, Linux servers,physical and cloud servers.
Ensure the availability, performance,and security of Windows, Linux and cloud environments.
2. Cloud Services:
Manage and optimize the deployment of cloud services on AWS and Azure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking resources.
As the business required, Implement best practices for cost optimization and security in the cloud environment.
3. Backup and Disaster Recovery:
Design, implement, and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data and applications.
Regularly test and validate backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
4. Storage Management:
Administer storage systems to guarantee data integrity and efficient use of storage resources.
Develop storage expansion strategies to accommodate the company's growth.
5. Office 365 Administration:
Manage and configure Office 365 services, including email, collaboration tools, and security features.
Implement and enforce security policies within the Office 365 environment.
6. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Ensure the team is well-equipped to handle the demands of the infrastructure.
7. Security and Compliance:
Collaborate with the security team to ensure infrastructure aligns with security and compliance standards and regulations.
Implement security measures to protect data and infrastructure assets.
8. Vendor Management:
Engage with technology vendors,negotiate contracts, and assess new technologies and solutions.
Maintain productive and cost-effective vendor relationships.
9. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Generate regular reports on infrastructure performance and issues for management.
10. Third-Party Application Management:
Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and updates of third-party applications used in the organization.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure third-party applications meet performance and security requirements.
