Purpose: This role is responsible for contributing in the planning team of CORE and VAS. This includes strategic planning, solutions roadmaps, capacity planning, optimization and Innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute in the development of an overall strategy for the CORE and VAS Directorate.
• To have meeting with all business peers to ensure proper planning and alignment on priorities
• To provide proper reporting and alignment with management in order to meet defined targets, and manage capacity and business growth.
• Create and support in annual operational plans and budgets for own area and ensure its effective execution through the identification of clear priorities and the allocation of appropriate resources
• In-depth analysis of CORE and VAS capacities and growth and performance.
• Align with Company vision and mission to support capex and opex saving
• Ensure to look 360-degree views for Core/VAS domain and supporting cross functional domain needs
• Ensure short-term (12 months)/ long terms of CORE and VAS systems capacity forecasting.
• Follow technology trends and ensure proper planning that fit business needs
• Support other teams in CORE & VAS through cascading the strategy, business plans, and vision
• Develops and implements the annual operating plan and budget for the CORE & VAS department
• Leading the delivery and management of all CORE and VAS expansion and upgrade projects
• Lead the delivery and management of all Proof-of-Concepts for new technologies for all Core/VAS domain.
• Responsible for producing RFP to float to bidders for the new projects (SOW, Vendor evaluation, Clarification on Spec)
• Responsible for managing the projects to deliver on time with quality
• Responsible for providing project management of team activities while proactively identifying areas in which efforts can produce a strong value add
• Responsible for coaching, mentoring and training team members to establish a consistent level of quality, accuracy, accountability, and compliance of the standards (Team Development)

• Bachelor Degree in Telecoms engineering, or equivalent.
• 9 years of relevant experience in engineering and telecommunication systems.
• Good experience in IT and CT technologies and operations
• Possess problem-solving and analytical skills, along with a strong knowledge of current industry practices.
• Attention to detail with a focus on data quality and data governance.
• Proficient in English communication and negotiation and presentation skills.
