Summary

We are seeking a qualified Assistant Engineer to join our team working on an exciting electricity project in Mandalay, Myanmar. In this role, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring they meet all project specifications and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist to Engineers in the design and development of electrical systems for the project.
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and other technical documents using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess electrical requirements.
• Perform calculations to determine appropriate equipment sizing and cable selection.
• Assist with the procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
• Oversee the installation of electrical systems by contractors, ensuring compliance with designs and safety standards.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports and documentation.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving electrical system issues.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest electrical codes and standards in Myanmar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical design and implementation for construction projects.
• Working experience in the electricity sector in Myanmar is a strong asset.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Burmese and English languages.
