Job Description Perform a daily plant walk focusing on the safe operating practices of the team. Immediately stop any unsafe work practices. Where possible, identify and rectify unsafe conditions. Ensure workers are correctly attired for the weather. Ensure adequate heat stress processes are followed. Monitor the cleanliness of the admin buildings and plant buildings. Initiate cleaning at an interval that keeps the facilities in excellent condition. Ensure the Toilets and Shower rooms both within the admin buildings and within the plant buildings are kept very clean. Maintain the plant roadways and paved areas in a clean safe condition. Co-Ordinate the timely collection of waste materials from inside and outside the factory. Containers and Bins should leave the site safety and securely in accordance with JMM and MJTD requirements. Monitoring cleaning equipment and machinery to ensure that they are in good situation. Ensure the grounds are well maintained, free of weeds and rubbish and well planted out. Ensure that a site is adequately baited for rodent control and other pest control services. Ensure the contractors and office staffs are well aware of the Company’s safety protocols by training and auditing works. Performing administrative tasks such as ordering suppliers, and arranging for repairs Lead daily operation by creating procedures, checklists, monitoring, evaluating, escalating and reporting. Report any required repairs to the related Maintenance Manager/Team Monitor costs on a weekly basis. Work closely with other departments within a contractor and company, including Maintenance and Safety & Environmental. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities Carry out equipment operation as per existing SOPs at any assigned location in CPL i.e., Entry Section, Pre-treatment Section, Coater Section, QC Section, and Exit Section. Evaluate existing operation procedures, identify areas for improvement and update SOPs for continuous quality and process improvement. Ensure production equipment, and operation process parameters meet requirement and comply with safety. Ensure colour coated steel coils produced by CPL meet quality standards and specifications. Analyse quality defects, investigate root causes and carry out corrective actions. Examine process failures and equipment breakdowns, implement preventive actions for improvement. Perform inspection to ensure incoming coils and paints are met required quality standards and specifications. Update daily operation process parameters, and production data records. Liaise with other department team members, i.e., Mechanical, Electrical and Automation for troubleshooting, maintenance, and modification of equipment. Carry out 5s activities in CPL to improve safety, productivity, and waste reduction. Lead staffs and assistant staffs in production work floor. Perform any other assigned tasks as instructed by CPL Shift Supervisor, Manager and V.P Manufacturing.
