Job Description

This position will be responsible for the achievement of high persistency in premium collection, payouts according to policy provisions, and quality reconciliation for all Dai-ichi Life policies.

  • Support for insurance premium collection/refund/payments and related policy servicing.
  • Check bank statements for premium payment, due premiums, and system data entry for payments, daily.
  • Fully understand the customer’s requirements and align with respective Operations and Distribution teams for policy servicing requests.
  • Ensure timely response and satisfactory resolution of matters requiring the support, particularly from Operations and Distributions for policy servicing function.
  • Coordinate with other departments/cross-functional teams for policy service and premium collection related.
  • Continually improve the customer experience by gathering feedback from partner(s) and customers and gauge their satisfaction level.  Strive for ‘Omotenashi’ service standards.
  • Understand the company’s policy provisions & products and be able to explain to customers.
  • Perform UAT testing for new products, functions, and system bugs.
  • Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as Collection, Policy Servicing and Customer service with minimum 3 years’ experience in Insurance, Banking, MFI or other related background.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with excellent communication skills in both English and Myanmar
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions with customer-centricity mindset.
  • Strong in people skills (interpersonal relationship), communication skill, pro-business.
  • A fast learner and able to work with cross functional teams.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge for premium collection related reporting including monthly/daily reconciliation.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft tools and digital gadgets.
