Job Description

  • Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
  • Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • Ensure staff are well trained and serve the expected customer services
  • Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
  • Estimates food and beverage costs.
  • Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies.
  • Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
  • Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance; schedules for service.
  • Collaborates with chefs to develop appetizing menus.
  • Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts.
  • Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the management
  • Performs other duties as assigned optimizing workflow and productivity by the management

Supply chain, procurement and culinary edge

  • researching dishes and planning menus
  • keeping abreast of inventory and ordering supplies
  • monitoring product quality and handling vendors

Compliance, health and safety

  • ensuring compliance with licensing, health and safety regulations
  • establishing and maintaining policies and protocols

  • proactively fostering the restaurant’s image
  • endeavoring to expand the restaurant’s reach through targeted promotions
  • coordinating with Marketing team for marketing activities and plans

Job Requirements

  • Ability to manage an entire  restaurant
  • Proven working experience as a Restaurant Manager.
  • Excellent record of kitchen management.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Capable of delegating multiple tasks.
  • Budgeting skills to control costs.
  • Incredible food preparation abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Deep knowledge of the food industry and trends.
