Summary

We are looking for an IT Manager who will be responsible and accountable for implementing and supporting all technology-related hardware and software, including core banking system, mobile apps, data analytical tools, network, desktops, printers, and surveillance cameras.

The IT Manager has excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Burmese and English

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage company systems such as core banking system (Musoni), client credit information system, digital field application, client facing application, data analytics tools etc.
• Lead and oversee the IT Department including digitalisation strategies, IT policies, procedures and budget.
• Prepare project plans, project related technical documents, and management reports for major IT projects including system implementation, updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
• Deliver a digital financial literacy program for staff and clients.
• Implement a client facing mobile application by integrating with the core banking systems.
• Develop and improve an interactive analytical dashboard and report to support the management for making informed and evidence-based decisions
• Provide high quality data analytics and reports to support decision making at the strategic level
• Manage IT or digitalization projects for the company.
• Manage and solve a technical issue with application vendors and relevant departments
• Develop and deliver training programs and workshops for staff and clients
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems, and identify a new innovative technical solution for the organisation.
• Build good relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure engagement and act as a key subject matter expert
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational development.
• Collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels within the organisation.
• Communicate effectively with staff, business stakeholders and management
• Provide technical support for all computer hardwires on the property.
• Develop and maintain other systems under the holding company, where required.

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering
• Minimun 7 years in IT  and 3 years in  management role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Burmese
• Expertise in data management, governance and analytics
• Experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Good interpersonal skills to develop positive working relationships
• Good knowledge and experience in MFI industry
• Advanced Microfinance excel skills, data management, transformation skills and skills of business intelligence tools
• Knowledge and theory in project management and system implementation
• Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast paced and busy environment
• Detail orientated
