This position will be responsible for the achievement of Prompt and Fair Claims Philosophy and Underwriting according to Dai-ichi Life policies and policy provisions.  Underwriting for Policies after Issued changes, such as Travelling Abroad, Reinstatements and Group Business new entrants/renewal cases.

  • Claims assessments for all products sold by Dai-ichi Life and daily communication/reporting with Third Party Administrator for Health insurance claims.
  • Fully understand the customer’s requirements and align with respective Operations and Distribution teams for Underwriting, Reinstatements and Claims requests.
  • Ensure timely response and satisfactory resolution of matters requiring the support, particularly from Operations, Distributions, Hospitals for Policy Servicing and Claims function.
  • Continually improve the customer experience by gathering feedback from partner(s) and customers and gauge their satisfaction level.  Strive for ‘Omotenashi’ service standards.
  • Understand the company’s policy provisions & products and be able to explain to customers.
  • Perform UAT testing for new products, functions and system bugs.
  • Conduct AML checks and when the result is positive, report to Manager for further process.
  • Have a mindset of Kaizen - continuous improvement and willing to sit for exams such as LOMA, ALU, ICA, etc.
  • Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

  • Medical Doctor Degree with excellent communication skills in both English and Myanmar.
  • Proven work experience as Claims and Underwriting experienced in Insurance related background.
  • Have certification in LOMA, AALU and FALU are an advantage.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions with customer-centricity mindset.
  • Strong in people skills (interpersonal relationship), communication skill, pro-business.
  • A fast learner and able to work with cross functional teams in dynamic work environment.
  • Advanced knowledge for Microsoft tools, including Outlook, MS Teams, Excels, Power Point and other related systems for daily reporting and case processing.
