The Strategy & Operational Support Manager responsible for managing the daily operations of Bancassurance BUs. The role requires daily handling of Insurance policy submissions from Branches and liaising with both General and Life Insurance Partners on a variety of issues. Process payments and maintain up to date administrative records for the Bancassurance Team.

Job Description

  • Ensuring Efficiency: Processing and forwarding all customer cover requests to respective insurers within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Data Management: Maintaining and updating existing manual databases with accurate information, ensuring swift access for the team.
  • Premium Reconciliation: Conducting monthly production and premiums reconciliation for various underwriters, providing timely reports to stakeholders.
  • Query Resolution: Addressing underwriters' queries and demand notices promptly, ensuring smooth communication and efficient resolution.
  • Outstanding Premiums Tracking: Reporting on the outstanding premiums status on a weekly basis, contributing to weekly reporting.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Identifying policies due for various actions as per the outstanding premiums tracking procedure and liaising with underwriters and insurance companies to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Claims Management: Logging claims with insurance providers and following up to closure, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
  • Effective Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with underwriters and Bancassurance teams to ensure seamless process flow and exceptional customer service.
  • Administrative Role: Managing ad-hoc administrative support, payment processing and data management and analysis when required.
  • Channel Support: Supporting Channel Managers with data requirements for Strategic review and analysis.

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

  • Graduate in Economics, B.Com (or) BBA (or) BBM 
  •  Fluent in local language and English Language (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening)
  • MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Proficient
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of insurance business, including claims management and underwriting, as well as insurance products and processes preferred.
  • Operations experience in the banking and/or insurance industry, providing you with valuable insights into industry practices.
