Data analyst (Marketing) role is responsible for collecting and storing data on sales numbers, market research, logistics, linguistics, or other behaviour. They bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of that data, then process, design and present it in ways to help people, businesses, and organizations to make better decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish relationships with other marketing functional teams to meet the analytics needs of the organization
• Propose and execute analytical approaches to understand consumer behaviour and answer business questions, surrounding but not limited to consumer segmentation, customer acquisition, cross-selling, retention and etc.
• Orchestrate data collection and manage database from internal and external applications or platforms across channels
• Develop and apply data mining methods, statistical, predictive and other analytical models for insights generation
• Select and manage suppliers of any digital, CRM or other data analytical tools whenever necessary
• Collaborate with other data analysts from other department for report productions and other insights delivery initiatives
• Strong quantitative skills in data mining, data management, statistical and other data analytic methodologies
• Exposure to consumer retail and strong acumen in business strategy, consumer behaviour and customer relationship management
• Adapted in communicating data findings/insights with internal business stakeholders as well as management
