An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Perform fiber optic splicing and testing on fiber optic cables for both new construction and repair projects.
Use specialized equipment to splice fibers
Ensure all splicing and terminations meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Install and configure fiber optic and telecommunications cables, including aerial installations.
Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs on fiber optic networks.
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network issues.
Conduct testing on fiber optic cables using OTDRs (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometers) and other testing equipment.
Accurately document test results and network configurations.
Maintain detailed records of splicing activities and network changes.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Stay updated with industry standards and best practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Communicate effectively with customers and clients to address concerns and provide updates.

Job Requirements

Bachelor Engineer or AGTI preferred.
Other Graduate with strong experiences
Technical degree or certification in telecommunications, fiber optics, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fiber optic splicing, installation, and maintenance.
Experience with OTDRs, fusion splicers, and other fiber optic testing equipment.
Strong technical skills and understanding of fiber optic networks.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Proficient in using various hand tools and splicing equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor sites, confined spaces, and at heights.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
