ROLE PURPOSE

 

Yoma Bank is recruiting an experienced Marketing Partnership, Senior Manager to join our Marketing and Communication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with various brands, influencers, and organizations to enhance our marketing efforts and drive business growth with a deep understanding of partnership development in a fast-paced environment.

 

The Marketing Partnership, Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the bank's growth strategy by identifying, negotiating, and establishing strategic partnerships with key external stakeholders. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with business partners, fostering collaboration, and contributing to the overall success of the bank's business development initiatives. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of the retail industry. This role is crucial for ideating, developing, and overseeing strategic partnerships with also top influencers and brands that enhance key branded moments and support both new and existing product launches.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing partnership strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth

• Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities with all retail brands, influencers, and organizations that align with our brand values and target audience

• Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and objectives

• Work closely with program innovation and strategy development teams to leverage emerging trends and technologies in the development of strategic partnerships

• Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities and stay ahead in the retail banking market

• Build and maintain strong relationships with partner brands, influencers, and organizations, fostering long-term collaboration and loyalty

• Facilitate and manage the end-to-end process of collaboration, from negotiation to execution, ensuring a smooth and efficient partnership lifecycle

• Coordinate with internal teams to align partnership goals with broader marketing and sales strategies

• Proactively seek opportunities for growth within each partnership, proposing creative collaboration ideas that deliver mutual value

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and forge new partnerships

• Manage the marketing partnership budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness

• Manage and support team members, ensuring successful project completion.

• Driving project delivery by fostering teams, managing relationships with stakeholders, identifying opportunities and obstacles/risks, developing strategic recommendations, and ensuring deliverables are optimally executed

• Proven ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines

• Work with the legal team to streamline contract creation for branded partnerships and enforce service-level agreements.

• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of partnerships.

• Monitor and analyze partnership performance, including ROI, brand exposure, and customer engagement, and provide regular reports to senior management

• Travel as necessary for event and partnership executions

 

The Ideal Candidate

• To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 4-6 years of local or international Brand (consumer products sector experience in business partnership roles.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

• Strong knowledge of the retail market, including key players, trends, and consumer behaviour.

• Demonstrated success in developing and managing partnerships, with a keen understanding of partnership dynamics and execution

• A proven leader capable of fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders

• Demonstrated creativity and strategic thinking in developing marketing campaigns and activations

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to measure partnership performance

• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple partnerships and deadlines simultaneously

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.

• Ability to listen, adapt, persuade, and transform while maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Possess negotiation, influencing, and relationship building skills. Digital-first mindset with ability to be agile and flexible in thinking.

• High-energy, maturity, leadership, and holds attention to details with the ability to serve as a unifying force, and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels.

• Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all team members, cross-functional teams, third parties, and other departments.Given the transformational nature of the opportunity, a can-do approach and strong committed collaborative skillset are highly required.

Job Requirements

• Drive the marketing partnership strategic planning process to deliver business objectives through a collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as well as business partners.

• Deliver strong relevant insights that results in effective, and resonating solves (to tensions) reflecting the role of Brand (Purpose and Value Proposition), products and services

 

Education & Experiences

Essential 

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

• A minimum of 4-6 years of local or international Brand experience in business partnership roles.

• Experience working with marketing research, marketing strategy, and developing and managing large-scale, multifaceted integrated marketing programs

• Demonstrated track record of successfully negotiating and closing complex business partnerships.

 

Technical/Functional competencies:

• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and linking the various stakeholders for alignment of campaign timelines and deliverables

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking industry.

• Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously (Highly developed project management skills)

• Advanced analytical skills, adept at translating complex data into actionable strategies.

• Review, draft and/or edit written content in English and Myanmar professionally
