Position Purpose

The position holder is expected to liaise with Regulatory & Risk Team and support in Timely resolution of requests received within the Compliance Framework.

Support the Commercial Team in implementation of the organization’s Compliance Framework and educate Agents/POS regarding the same. To routinely carry out Audits to ensure Compliance within the channel. Also coordinate with Field Teams for Resolution of Fraud Complaints.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with Regulatory and Risk & Compliance Team for timely resolution of Requests.
• Support the Commercial Team in Implementation of the organization's Compliance Framework
• Carry out Routine Field Visits to ensure Compliance within the Channel
• Identify process gaps within Commercial and drive documentation and implementation of processes ensuring that necessary controls are embedded within such processes.
• Support in improving awareness of Internal Control processes among the Stakeholders.
• Regular review and analysis of controls to increase / maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Management reporting.
• Document and report evidence and findings, submitting escalations to the investigations team
• Prepare written communications, case summaries in a thorough, clear organized and timely manner. Properly document all case-related activities using the case management system and physical files as required.
• Assist Business Assurance Team in the fraud data analysis and the preparation of analytical reports as needed.
• Follow governance structure and compliance management framework set by the Organization.
• Any ad-hoc activities as assigned by the Line Manager

• 100% Resolution of Regulatory Requests within defined timelines

• Completion and implementation of Compliance Program

Experience, Functional Skills and Knowledge Areas

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• 5-7 years of experience including relevant experience in Compliance, Internal Control, Risk & Compliance, Audit
• Previous experience in compliance, internal control, risk management, or audit. 
• Relevant experience in a Financial Institution or Mobile Operator and/or a holder of appropriate qualifications will be an advantage.
