Duties and Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing credit risk policies, procedures and standards in line with the regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Monitoring and reporting on the credit risk exposures, performance and trends of the institution and its portfolios
• Conducting credit risk assessments and reviews of new and existing products, services, customers and counterparties
• Providing guidance and support to the credit risk analysts and managers in conducting credit analysis, due diligence, rating and approval processes
• Identifying, measuring and mitigating credit risks and ensuring adequate provisioning and capital allocation
• Managing credit risk-related issues and incidents and escalating them as appropriate
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors, regulators, rating agencies and business units, on credit risk matters
•  Any other relevant tasks that stipulated by supervisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or other relevant academic backgrounds
• Have at least 2-3 years of working experience in banking or financial industry (Training on credit risk management/credit analyst is preferable!)
• Understanding of Central bank of Myanmar (CBM) regulations and instructions, financial ratios, risk indicators
• General understanding of banking business, products and services (understanding of banking MIS reports is preferable!)
• Capability to summarize and interpret risk reports from different departments
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and analytical skills
• Computer literate and proficiency in English
• Myanmar nationality only
