- Conducting market research and identifying possible promotional strategies and new market niches
- Strategy development and planning campaigns that can promote the business and increase brand awareness and market share, on time and within the budget
- Continually developing new strategies for products and ensuring overall company objectives are met
- Serve as a brand guardian, understand the branding concept and ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and communications, developing clear positioning statements, adhering to brand guidelines and maintain a strong and cohesive brand identity
- To ensure that the brand remains recognizable, up to date and exciting to customers
- Alignment of Brand Ambassador activities with brand strategies to develop high impact
- Be continuously alert to changes, issues and opportunities in the market, evaluate & recommend solutions and implement agreed changes to plans to optimize return
- Provide updates on competitive position of brands and own brand positioning in the market to key internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for sales and contribution growth and ATL/BTL marketing activities of brands
- Monitoring annual trade marketing budget and effective utilization
- Conducting field audit checks for visibility of brand ambassadors and trade marketing activities, etc.
- Ensuring market visits as per agreed SOP’s and prepare market visit reports gathering feedback, issues and other observations (at least 2 days of each week must be spent in the market)
- Measuring and evaluating the success of campaigns and presenting results to senior management
- Leading and motivating a team of marketing supervisors and assistants
- Liaising with colleagues, customers and suppliers to ensure all work proceeds effectively and smoothly with relevant communication
