Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, support & supervise the assigned project/s team with high quality implementation of the project activities (primarily operating area in Southern Shan and Mandalay region),
• Ensure that the project plan is in place and defined result in the project plan are achieved on time
• Ensure all related donor compliance including high quality progress/technical reports written in English & Burmese and submitted to donor on time
• Provide support to management on the project tracking, monitoring and learning generation
• Build the capacity of the staff on project related skills, management skills and conceptual understanding
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders with BRAC International HQ team and in country’s departments and field operation for proper planning and implementation as well as good coordination and relationship with the external stakeholders like service providers, vendors, and partners.
• Coordinate with finance department and donor for project budget revision
• Support the Senior Management by drafting various reports as required
• Develop ideas and concept note to expand the project coverage and funding

Additional Responsibilities:

• Endorse the BRAC safeguarding policy as part of the organization and ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
• Adapt and support to achieve BRAC mission in terms of the social performance management objectives and embed the BRAC values and DNA through its high valued workforce.

COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:

• Any Graduate. Master’s degree is preferred
• At least 5 years of practical experience in project management/donor and partnership management
• Working experience with INGOs will add value
• Strong supervisory and management skills
• Adaptive in multicultural and diverse team setting
• Willingness to travel in rural communities
