KBZ Bank is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to work in a team of technology specialists and teams to create systems and modules to be deployed on cloud as well as KBZ owned managed on-premises datacenter.

As a systems manager of an infrastructure team, it is required to plan, coordinate, and direct infrastructure-related activities at a bank wide and help determine its information technology goals. Has to analyze an organization’s business needs and recommend possible upgrades for top executives/mgmt to review. And has to assess the cost and benefits of new projects to justify projects’ funding to top executives and determine long and short-term strategy plans to improve their own managed area that align with bank objectives and goal to transform from traditional banking products into digital products.

• Responsible for managing overall IT day to day operations to improve infrastructure costs, performance and end user satisfaction
• Constantly seek better, faster, more reliable solutions that relate to the business and technical needs of our customers
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the reporting department
• Ensure cost effectiveness and work in line with the budget.
• Selecting and purchasing new and replacing existing managed assets : software, hardware (compute and storage), when necessary.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• Creates and executes development plans across multiple projects and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Trouble-shoots and solves problems by leading with the internal teams and other cross functional teams on the related infrastructure services such as AD, DNS, Mail Services.
• Manage the staff by recruiting, training, communicating the expectations and appraising their performance.
• Administrative and manage PaaS platform, SaaS platform products.
• Handle infrastructure automation with the scripting such as Powershell, Batch, Ansible
• Attend the call whenever troubleshooting required as as acting as L2, L3 support and act as snr.technical team lead for the team
• Assesses training needs and selects training tools for team members.
• Easily recognised areas for internal improvement and develops plans for implementation.
• Lends expertise to internal teams and task forces.
• Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate.
• Attend the job whenever it is necessary and required.

• Bachelor degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in IT operations and 5 years of complex IT technical troubleshooting in Banking IT Industry Field
• At least 2 years of Cloud Infrastructure Experience, Cloud Resiliency and Recovery Experience (AWS, GCP , OCI, Huawei)
• Project and time management skills
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Microsoft Systems Administration/System Engineer certification will be an asset
• Excellent people and managerial skills and multitasking skills.
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
• Have a passion for systems engineering, AWS, and SaaS management at scale
• Ability to operate both tactically and strategically and know when best to choose which of these approaches is appropriate in the moment
• Ability to direct and control technical meetings
• Well versed in technical principles like cloud engineering, operational excellence, and balancing performance, efficiency, and reliability
• Ability to work effectively partner with others in the organization and use own mindset and thoughtfulness and empathy to understand the challenges they face and how can work together to better solution to deliver
• Have experience leading teams with highly diverse skill sets.
