Job Description

  • Develop policies and procedures to support functional objectives.
  • Develop strategic plans to improve the productivity and efficiency of the supply chain process.
  • Support the management with data, information, analysis needed for financial and commercial strategies.
  • Lead the subordinates in analysing the past performance data to forecast the demand for the products, ensures that products are available to customers at all times
  • Lead the subordinates in sourcing and buying activities including and contract drafting and terms and conditions negotiation.
  • Prepare reports such as spend analysis to understand the current spend and develop a sourcing strategy to lessen the risk on supply and reduce the cost.
  • Lead the subordinates in warehouse management, inventory, and distribution process.
  • Train the Procurement and Logistics team to enhance their knowledge in performing their assigned function.
  • Any other task requested by top Management in line with Supply Chain function.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree with minimum 7 years managerial experience handling Supply Chain (Procurement and Logistics).
  • Able to handle and manage departmental sub-functions (Procurement, Warehouse, Inventory, Distribution, Import and Export, and Transportation).
  • Has Networking Skills, able to maintain contact and good relationship with different people in the network. 
  • Negotiation Skills, able to strategize approach and influence the vendor.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, speaking, writing, reading.
  • Good Analytical Skills, good in analysing reports and able to use it as tool in Supply Chain.
  • Has Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint skills to do the reporting requirement.
  • Very Assertive.
