Job Description

• Managing and performing day-to-day operational tasks of Trade Finance products including but not limited to Documentary Credit, Documentary Collection, Banker’s Guarantee, Standby Letter of Credit, Export and Import TT, Trade Financing and international trade settlement. 
• Ensuring all processes adhere to internal bank policies and procedures, internal compliance requirements, external rules and regulations and international guidelines and practices. 
• Ensuring all trade finance operations comply with international trade regulations, sanctions, and anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines.
• Monitoring the settlement of export declaration and import declaration outstanding amounts in CBM Reporting System. 
• Ensuring accurate and timely transaction reporting for all Trade Finance products on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Attending to customers’ queries, explaining products and processes to customers, and solving customers’ problem relating to Trade Finance products. 
• Attending to external meetings within Yangon or outside Yangon and solving any problem relating to Trade Finance products.
• Overseeing overall trade finance operational processes, staff efficiency, and providing recommendations for process improvements and controls. 
• Supervise, train and coach all team members. 
• Any other duties or projects as may be assigned by HOD and Senior Management. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Business, Finance or Economics related field is preferred. 
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Trade Finance Operations. 
• Knowledge of ICC Publications such as UCP, URDG, and ISBP will be an added advantage. 
• Knowledge of Trade Financing
• Possess analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Possess communication skills in both written and verbal, with fluency in English and Myanmar. 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy office environment.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Ability to work with high level of accuracy. 
• Ability to communicate well, follow procedures and policies of the Bank and work under pressure are essential
• Ability to meet deadlines, team player and an understanding to the concept of superior.
• Responsive with a sense of urgency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Words, Excel and PowerPoint.
