• Estimate BOQ for RC, Steel Structure, Architectural works for projects and quotation proposal (For Building QS)
• Estimate BOQ for Electrical work such as cable length, SSO lighting point qty.
• Prepare BOQ for tender and necessary documents for submission
• Measuring, preparing and providing of variation order on sites
• Search and inquiry the new contractors and suppliers
• Check demand from site engineer
• Price negotiation with contractors and suppliers
• Valuing completed work and arranging payments
• The preparation of bills and schedules of quantities of materials, labor and services required in the construction and equipment of building, or engineering works
• Assist and Report to Sr QS / Contract Manager
• Performs other duties as assigned

Selected candidate will be hired as independent contractor and works from Yangon office at Myanmar Plaza.

• B.E, B.Tech Bachelor in quantity surveying, construction engineering (Civil degree for building QS, Mech/Elec degree for M&E QS)
• 5 years of construction estimating experience or related field
• Proficient in computer skills and related engineering software
• Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills
• In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
• Team work, Time management skills, Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skill in order to liaise with different parts of the organization
• Ability to work on tight dateline to meet tender submission
• Highly independent player in the team that can work without much supervision
