  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for rice, beans, and sesame to meet export demands and quality standards.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet the company’s quality, sustainability, and cost requirements.
  • Conduct market research to understand supply trends, pricing fluctuations, and new sourcing opportunities in the agricultural sector.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local farmers, cooperatives, and suppliers to secure a consistent and reliable supply chain.
  • Conduct regular supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment conditions.
  • Ensure that all sourced products meet the company’s quality specifications and international export standards.
  • Stay updated on agricultural product regulations and certification requirements in target export markets.
  • Coordinate with the logistics and export teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipping of products to international markets.
  • Manage documentation and regulatory compliance for exporting rice, beans, and sesame, including phytosanitary certifications and customs declarations.
  • Monitor and optimize the supply chain to minimize lead times and reduce costs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis and sourcing performance.
  • Work closely with the Export Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align sourcing activities with business goals and customer requirements.

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • English: Fluence
  • 7-10 years of experience in sourcing, specifically in agricultural commodities or export operations. Experience in sourcing rice, beans, or sesame is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency MS Office.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and secure favorable terms and conditions.
